Xavier Dolan-Tadros was born on March 20, 1989, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He began his career as a child actor, appearing in numerous television shows and films.
Breakthrough as a Filmmaker
Dolan made his directorial debut with the short film "J'ai tué ma mère" ("I Killed My Mother") in 2009. The film was critically acclaimed, winning several awards at international film festivals. Dolan continued to write and direct a series of successful films, including "Laurence Anyways" (2012) and "Mommy" (2014).
